Congratulations to the lovely Carolina, or Carola for short, whose beautiful treasury was a Mighty Treasure Hunting Winner.
So we know she makes lovely treasuries and we know she makes and sells lovely clutch bags in her shop, but we don't know too much about her. Luckily, she was kind enough to take the time to tell us a little more about herself and her work.

My name is Carolina Mora, or Carola . I live in Santiago, Chile, in an apartment with my boyfriend. No pets at the moment, because my boyfriend is allergic…
I've been sewing since I was little - my mom taught me how to sew in our old Singer sewing machine, I remember her, sewing a pencil case for me when I was about 7 or 8 years old - a big one - I was so excited about it because I could carry so many pencils in it, more than my classmates :) ... We lived in one of the most southerly cities of Chile, Coyhaique, so we didn't have a lot of shopping options. There were only a few stores because our city was really little back then... So my mom used to sew a lot for me, my sister and brothers :)
So I think I have loved pouches and sewing since then...
The first time I saw the Etsy site, I was amazed about the amount of incredible shops there, and I humbly thought: Well, I could make some things too... Maybe I could start my own shop on Etsy, but to tell you the truth, I didn't think that anybody could ever want to buy something from me...
Anyway, once I decided to do that, it was a little complicated at first, to do all the bureaucratic stuff - register, learn how to use it, learn about paypal, etc., and while I was doing all of that I was thinking: What if nobody likes my work?? Luckily I took the risk, and, well, I'm more than happy with my clients, with their support...they are amazing :)
Today my my process is a little messy, early in the morning I start answering emails, making some treasuries for the etsy teams I'm in, while having my breakfast ;) After that I start finishing some custom orders or starting new pouches or bags: cutting, ironing, sewing , after that, my lunch, a deserved fruit tea and then I start finishing the orders I have to ship that same day, packaging, etc, and then I have to run to the Postal Office to ship all the packages on time... a little stressful some times, but totally worth it :)
Today, I'm very excited about the future of my shop ;) I have so many ideas for Aylla and I’m working really hard to pursue my dreams…
